The colours have their own language

Choosing a colour, is both influencing the atmospheric brightness of the terrace and also the perception of the environment. White, for example, enlarges the space, accentuates the light and enhances the other shades. Red, orange and ochre create a warmer atmosphere. As for blue and green, they reflect the nature and present a soothing and relaxing area. Choosing a colour is equally to control the thermal and luminous effects of the suns rays. A light colour will allow more warmth through but will offer an incomparable brightness. A darker colour will give more freshness but filter the brightness of the sun. The colour equally offers an optimum protection against the effects of UV. Dark colours will stop both UVA and UVB rays. Light colours will be as efficient as a factor 50 sun cream. A level of protection against the effects of UV, visual and thermal comfort, and feeling of well being … the colours of Dickson fabrics offer the choice !
