Where is the product made?

Dickson Constant is based in Wasquehal and Hordain, in the north of France. All our products are manufactured in our factories in France.

How can I order? Where can I find a sample? How can I check the stock?

Dickson Constant has a worldwide presence. Our products are distributed in more than 80 countries.

What shapes are available?

Dickson woven flooring is available in tiles, rolls and some other standard shapes from our Shape Lab. Please refer to our presentation brochure or our website.

How long is a standard roll? What is the width

Our standard rolls are 25 linear metres long and 2 linear metres wide. A standard roll is 50m². A cutting service is available for a minimum of 10m².

What are the dimensions of a standard tile?

Our tiles measure 50cm x 50cm

Is it possible to customise the shapes or colours of Dickson woven flooring?

Our woven flooring is not currently customisable. We have 6 ranges and 43 colours, in the shapes stated above. Please refer to our presentation brochure or our website

Is it possible to simulate the installation of Dickson Flooring? Can I see my floor before ordering?

What is your return policy? Where can I send a claim?

How do I install Dickson Flooring?

Yes, Dickson Flooring must be fitted by a professional installer or one of our certified expert fitters. Otherwise, the warranty will not apply. Please click here to download our installation brochure.

Is an underlay required?

Thanks to its integrated high-tech underlay, Dickson Flooring makes using an additional underlay unnecessary and superfluous. Download our presentation brochure and installation guide

Is Dickson Flooring compatible with underfloor heating?

Dickson Flooring meets the criteria of the ISO 8302 standard and is therefore compatible with underfloor heating. Download our installation guide and our technical data sheet to find all the necessary information

What type of adhesive is recommended? Are they sold by Dickson-Constant? Is using an adhesive compulsory?

Dickson Constant recommends different brands of adhesive for tiles, rolls and shapes. Please refer to our installation guide. Dickson Constant doesn't stock adhesives or any other material necessary for the installation of its flooring.

For a durable and visually-pleasing installation, Dickson woven flooring must be held together with adhesive. Rolls and shapes should be laid with an acrylic adhesive being directly glued on the surface, tiles can be laid with a permanent adhesive. Download our installation guide for more details

Is it compulsory to use cold seam welding when installing Dickson Flooring?

Thanks to its excellent dimensional stability, cold welding is not necessary. Dickson Constant recommends cold welding only when installing in damp/wet rooms and for rolls only in order to ensure perfect waterproofness between the strips.

Can Dickson woven floors be installed in high-traffic areas? At the entrance of buildings?

Yes, Dickson woven flooring has been specially designed for use in high-traffic commercial and residential environments. It can be installed in all buildings open to the public. Dickson Flooring meets the criteria of the EN685 standard, and all our ranges and colours are certified Class 33, which means they are suitable for high-traffic areas. What's more, FrayGuard® technology developed by Dickson limits the fraying phenomenon as much as possible during cutting and reinforces the weave's strength. It guarantees neat and clean cuts ensuring a fast, efficient and impeccable result.

Please note that using a welcome mat is essential for building entrances, to limit soiling of your woven flooring by dust and dirt coming from outside.

Can Dickson Flooring be installed in hospitals? In children’s areas?

Dickson® woven flooring preserves the sanitary quality of premises. Rot-proof and antibacterial, it is not sensitive to mites, mould and fungi. Their waterproof surface is reinforced by an integrated varnish overlay that facilitates hygienic floor maintenance and prevents stubborn stains such as coffee, wine, jam, blood etc.

Dickson Flooring can be installed in corridors, bedrooms, restaurants and cafes, office and other public areas. Please note that Dickson Constant doesn't recommend installing their woven flooring in operating theatres according to local legislation in force.

Can Dickson Flooring be laid outside? Around/near a swimming pool?

For the time being, Dickson Flooring has been designed for indoor use only. Our R&D department is currently conducting research for outdoor use. We will inform you as soon as the final results are known. However, because it is 100% waterproof, we don't recommend installing Dickson Flooring around swimming pools. Can Dickson Flooring be installed on a raised floor?

Dickson Flooring can be installed on a raised floor with permanent adhesive and in D50 tiles only, which allows easy removal and quick access to the raised floor. Download our installation guide

Can Dickson Flooring be installed on stairs?

Yes, it's possible. The roll format will have to be installed on steps. In buildings open to the public, it is recommended to add stair nosing. This isn't necessary for a home installation. Please contact your distributor or installer for further advice and information.

Can Dickson Flooring be installed on tiles?

This is entirely possible. Before installing our woven flooring on tiles, you must ensure that the surface is flat, clean and dry. Furthermore, it is essential to ensure that the tiles adhere to the surface by sanding them beforehand. Also ensure that the joints of the woven flooring don't overlap with the joints of the tiles. Please contact your installer for more information and advice.

Can Dickson Flooring be glued to sprung flooring? Linoleum?

No, under no circumstances should Dickson Flooring be installed on top of another soft flooring

Can Dickson Flooring be used on walls?

Under no circumstances! Dickson Flooring is woven flooring with a high-tech acoustic underlay. It is not designed to be glued to walls.

Are the colours UV resistant?

Even when exposed to intense sunlight, the colours of Dickson® floors retain their brilliance. All our products are ISO 105 B02 and B04 certified. Click here to download our technical data sheet

What is the acoustic performance of the product?

SoundGard® technology is a cutting-edge innovation specifically designed to increase acoustic comfort and absorption. Dickson has developed a high-performance acoustic underlay that effectively absorbs airborne noise and significantly reduces the transmission of impact noise (18dB). Is Dickson woven flooring fire resistant?

Dickson® flooring has excellent fire resistance. Our products have been successfully tested and certified according to European standard EN 13501-1 and American standard ASTM E 648.

Can I use furniture with wheels?

Yes, “hard” (polyamide) castor chairs are fully compatible with our woven flooring. Dickson Flooring meets the criteria of standard EN985. Click here to download our technical data sheet

Is Dickson woven flooring slippery?

The woven structure of Dickson® flooring is naturally non-slip, which makes it particularly suitable for use in public areas where safety standards often dictate the choice of materials. Dickson Flooring is EN13893 (R9) certified, click here to download our technical data sheet

Is Dickson Flooring waterproof?

Water is not a problem with Dickson® flooring, it is rot-proof, waterproof and stable. It is suitable for installation in wet rooms. Dickson recommends using suitable absorbent rugs for outside the shower, bath and under the toilet and sink. Because it is 100% waterproof, we don't recommend installing Dickson Flooring around swimming pools. We advise choosing from our In & Out rug collection. Is Dickon Flooring resistant to mould?

Moisture is not a problem for Dickson Flooring. It is waterproof, rot-proof and extremely stable.

How do I take care of my Dickson Woven Flooring?

Is Dickson Flooring easy to clean?

Dickson woven flooring is very easy to look after! The exclusive assembly process used by Dickson guarantees perfect waterproofness and resistance to stains and dust on the wear side. The warp and weft threads are heat-welded and joined to the underlay, still warm, to prevent dirt from penetrating the fibres, keeping it on the surface. The waterproofing of the woven side is now reinforced by our latest innovation, CleanGard® technology, which now integrates a varnish overlay to make cleaning the floor even easier and prevent tough stains. Is Dickson Flooring guaranteed and durable?

Dickson® can guarantee its flooring for 15 years thanks to the quality of its products and the numerous laboratory tests carried out to assess its performance. A guarantee of quality to be considered when choosing your flooring.

Is Dickson Flooring environmentally friendly?

Our R&D department has developed a collection that is guaranteed to be phthalate and plasticiser free, including the woven side and underlay. Our company respects the environment, users and air quality, and is committed to eliminating all controversial substances from its products as part of its eco-innovation approach in compliance with the European REACH label.
